Lindsay and Ryan are like many others who come to the Reno-Tahoe area to be married. They are a destination wedding couple, and they have chosen the Nevada Art Museum for their ceremony location, and the Siena Resort for their accommodations and dinner reception.   The roof-top ceremony was spectacular, and the brightly-colored floral arrangements really popped against the white chairs and the royal blue sky, a common occurrence in the Reno area.  The beautiful and delicious wedding cake was created by the Siena bakery team.  Guest favors were personalized chopsticks and customized fortune cookies, containing thank you messages from the bride and groom.  The Siena has a beautiful ballroom, with floor-to-ceiling windows that look over the cityscape.    A tied-back, red drape welcomed guests to the wedding reception.   The roof-top view of the Sierra Nevada mountain range, is unsurpassed in nature's beauty!  Beautiful bride, Lindsay, and her parents...

Dominique and Brandon took a huge leap of faith, planning their Lake Tahoe outdoor wedding for October 25th. With it being so late in the year, all the area beaches were closed from the public, and the weather could hold to be somewhat unpredictable. They chose Burnt Cedar Beach in Incline Village, Nevada, as their ceremony location, to be specific. Burnt Cedar Beach is Lake Tahoe's only peninsula, surrounded by a sandy beach on one side, and large rocks on the other. A long grassy space makes up the top of the peninsula, which provides the most perfect wedding ceremony space, as well as unmatchable views of The Lake. As the wedding day approached, all eyes were on the ten-day, then the three-day weather forecast. There was a storm approaching the West Coast, but for Friday, it was to be beautiful weather, with forecasted temperatures in the 70's, and so it was full steam ahead for the outdoor ceremony.        We placed groupings of pumpkins, in every color and shap...

 Sara and Tim chose the Galena Fish Hatchery as their wedding and reception venue. Since they love fish and ladybugs, they also decided to incorporate them into their wedding day as well. With gummy worms and Goldfish crackers to keep all the kids happy, Sara had certainly thought of everything to make her guests enjoy their day. Sara is an elementary school teacher, and many of the guests in attendance were teachers and school kids. Tim's mother created the wedding cakes, which also coordinated with the theme. The Galena Fish Hatchery is a beautiful stone building, operated by the City of Reno, and is located in the Galena Forest, off Mt. rose Hwy. Nevada Beach is one of the largest and most beautiful beaches at Lake Tahoe. With the recent addition of the massive log pergola, weddings and receptions are a definite possibility. The large log structure provides many possible decorating opportunities, including the addition of paper lanterns, as were used on Laura and Dennis' wedding day.
